Animation I just made with Aseprite for my icon I'm currently using!
I actually drew and animated it 100x100 and upscaled it to this size to post and Aseprite is surprisingly not great at making a the sprites bigger.
This version which is the choppier version is closest to how it looks in it's actual size, which I have in my icon right now. The other option is one that makes it look blurry, and another one that kinda tries to redraw it in a smoother way but it isn't great either.
Ah well. I guess it's a thing to keep in mind. Once I animate something for the heck of it, I'll have to make sure it's the size I plan on posting.
Edit: Wait a minute, weird. Now that I actually look at the gif, I guess the gif saved better than the preview in Aseprite? Huh, well good then!

Heheh, no problem! I guess I did spend some amount of time polishing to try and make the movements a bit smoother too. Some of my previous animation doodles definitely had certain part just flailing around cause I didn't take the time, haha.
I'd recommend Aseprite! You can also download a trial version to check it out, see if it runs well, etc. But you can't save anything with that version. If you don't have any way to "record" things on your screen into gifs, I'd recommend getting Gyazo, which is free, since it does have a gif function. This is just to make sure you can actually try the program out by actually taking the time to animate something without having to lose it. If you're anything like me, I couldn't get into working on something if I knew it would be lost.
I made this with the trial, by the way! It's simple, but was a good way to test it out! =3 But as you can see Gyazo isn't great at saving gifs in term of quality. It's possible I have setting set like that though.
