Wistful Weavings - Parable to the Scattered Stars, Verse 1
This... has sat on my hard drive for about a month now, and I honestly didn't think it'd ever see the light of day. The result of a sudden, lengthy fit of inspiration (which all but ruined me for the following day of classes), the piece itself is abstract even by my standards. Sometimes I just can't quite nail down what it is my mind is trying to express, but I recorded it as well as I could.
I was hesitant to share this for a second reason. It's fairly... revealing, at least as far as analogies go. I'm not certain I've ever thrown open the curtains so brazenly, and hopefully it'll be worth it after I get the whole thing posted. I just couldn't let this rot any longer than it already has.
Sorry for the rant, I'll try to keep the soliloquies short on the following verses! As always, I'm open to hear any thoughts or comments you might have. With classes finally letting out, I hope I'll get back to writing more poetry. Who knows, maybe I'll even get good at it eventually!
