“The nure-onna (濡女, lit. "wet woman") is a yōkai which resembles an amphibious creature with the head of a woman and the body of a snake. She has been described as being 300 m in length and has snake-like eyes, fangs and long, beautiful hair. A nure-onna's intention is unknown. In some stories, she is a monstrous being that is powerful enough to crush trees with her tail and feeds on humans. She uses her long, snake-like tongue to suck all the blood from her victim’s body. In other stories, a nure-onna is simply seeking solitude as she washes her hair and reacts violently to those who bother her."

Kiyo is such a creature. An illusive sorceress, she owns a curiosity shop located far deep in the eastern marshes. Though Kiyo is coolheaded and not malicious at heart, her true alignment is neutral and cunningly would only take one side as long she benefits from it. Her hobby usually involves smoking her favorite kisaru pipe, lounging in moist areas and giving hugs to her close acquaintances (much to their discomfort).

A/N: Had her in my mind for a while. I find Kiyo’s design to be very unique and I’m proud how she came out. It has made me wonder, however, whether Kiyo has some connection with Shirohebi or not. For being another snake-themed monster and all. Either way, enjoy~
