It was an hours walk to reach a city line none they've known, every building was its own design. From size of the buildings to the materials that made it, they were all unique. Even the shops seemed to sell only the things of another world, the residence too were differently clothed from one another. Aysha looked around at the shops and houses with awe at the diversity, Curatrix looked around with concern though.
"It's so colorful here." Aysha said as she walked with her brother. "Could all have this come from people leaving their original homes?"
"It's confusing." Curatrix said "I thought three times that some of the people here were from towns we've passed before. How does the council know who is of their kingdom and not another one?"
"Well, maybe they have some way to keep track?" Aysha said "But have you seen some of what they have for sales? You could pay for something three different ways. I could have bought a fish for the feathers in my hair."
"There are no guards around either." Curatrix looked around a bit more, but he couldn't spot one. "Are we missing them, or do they not exist in this kingdom?"
"Why are you so worried?" Aysha never got an answer, so she stopped and grabbed his shoulder "Do you think Winona is the only kind one of the citizens? Everyone seems to not mind we're here, they could be just as nice if we just talk with them."
"True, but there's something still off though about the missing guards though." Curatrix said "If there are no guards, there should be raiders everywhere, or thieves at the least. Why are there not any of them either?"
