The foreground element makes it look like a candid photo. It doesn't obey the rules of composition in that sense but it adds a spontaneous quality to the pic that works.

I have no idea how you do it, but you always manages to portray muscles so well under fur. And add the right colors and shadows. It's like decoating a cake. A delicious bear cake. With lot's of glacing. Mmmmm..

I’m honestly delighted that you’re following up on the style you did a few submissions back. I like the clear definition that’s achieved without using noticeable linework, and my opinion of your amazingdelicious colouring skills should be completely predictable by now. :V

I think the bush in the foreground is a nice extension to the background; it’s almost as if someone’s taking a few sneaky photographs.
