Just a size comparison of human!Phoenix vs. Werewolf!Phoenix in his preferred state.

To be fair, his size does tend to vary with the lunar cycle (he’s stuck fully human during the new moon, and the most animalistic during the full moon).

My personal headcanon is that Phoenix spends most of the time in his partial form (except when he’s in court or when he has to (interviewing witnesses, out in public where he might be recognised)). Why? Well, a couple of reasons: a) have you seen the people who come after him during the series in general? B) Most of his life he’s felt like a wimp, and being able to be someone who is seen a powerful and able to protect those close to him is rather appealing. C) All of his senses are heightened in this form, from hearing to sense of smell… and D) Maya likes riding him instead of walking, and we did mention he’s got a heightened sense of smell, right?
