Is your 'sona a steampunk, dieselpunk, wasteland or sciencey fellow? Then they might need a cool robot assistant, or upgrade the one they already have!
This one 'ere's an Oculocopter Mark 1, Scouting Bot, the first of its kind. Prime condition, in fully workin' order, but what else would ya expect? Tandyl Inc. made bazillions of these, massively overestimating the amount of adventurers on the market. Plenty of them haven't seen a single day of use.
*Weighs a light 10 Kg, almost nothing for the 50 cm high robot!
*Can operate up to altitudes of 5000m!
*Broad range EM camera discovers heat sources and radio staions from afar!
*Fetches equipment like a loyal canine!
*Understands a wide list of preset orders, and responds in unique beep signals!
*USB-compliant, so you can download all recorded data to your PDA!
*Solar panels on tail rotors give him that extra oomph, and allow for longer deployment!
*500 GB harddrive, Battery lasts 24 hours under normal circumstances.
WARNING: ROTORS HURT. DO NOT TOUCH SPINNING ROTORS.
