Im not sure 'sorry' is the correct word for the passive-aggressive situation but, if it helps you feel above the situation, it's not my care to stop you. the only other logical reason "before the games release" was said is to put some emphasis on time which would have better been said as "people making NSFW pictures mere minutes after the reveal"

Dewott is pretty legit. definitly the best of the second form starters (tho he suffers from the same thing braixen did)

poor water starter, decent design but just cannot compete with a forest owl and fire cat :D

the circus trope bleeds too close to the full on clown image for a lot of people. underlying fears and subconscious disconnects and all that, coupled with the fact that the fire cat and grass owl are much easier to identify with doesnt really spell well for the sea lion. so much so that people have developed a hipster-esque liking to the pokemon just to be out of the norm which then clouds those who genuinely like the pokemon for what it is

I like it because I can see myself playing with and cuddling it, plus its so happy! I don't honestly think you can be a hipster about a starter Pokemon? But that's my opinion.

you can be a hipster about literally anything. i think ashimari can become cool if his 3rd form does it justice and he doesnt become some psychic mega clown. it's all about the 3rd forms of these Pokemon anyways.
