This is the Ballarat Ore Bin/Mine Tipple and the main industry here at this end of the Railroad. I suspect it is based on the Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge's Cerro Gordo Mine at Keeler, CA. And my reasoning for this is that the ore bin/tipple is served by an aerial tramway. I haven't decided on what ore this tipple will be loaded with yet, I'll have to do some digging historically to see what Ballarat shipped out the most in its heyday.
