I'd like to announce that I'm finally going to break a leg and open commissions... and for food, no less! I've been stuck in a rut for the past year because of health problems and an overall negative outlook on life, but things seem to be changing for the better now thanks to my family and friends (huge shout out to you guys for being yourselves). My health is and has been getting better, and I'm starting to feel that motivation kicking in!
But there's one huge problem. I need money for food! I have so many expenses and I find myself skimping out on lunch and dinner some days because I don't have cash to burn. It's not a dire situation by any means but it's nice to be able to buy a meaty sandwich or burrito when hunger strikes. So I figured, why not open commissions? Let me break it down!
Sketch + Lineart
$5 - $10
Easy. Throw me your references and I'll do my best to cough out what you have in mind. The more complicated the drawing, the more I'll charge, though I can't see myself charging over $10! That gets me enough to buy food that will last for 3 days!
Lineart + Color and shading
$10 - $15
The price rises with the complexity of the original sketch and lineart.
Paintings
$15
This is where it gets fun for me. $15 gets me a burrito with guacamole and chips at Chipotle and that makes me a very happy person, and since painting can be so difficult, the luxury of a big meal goes hand-in-hand. Though! I do have to mention that my painting skills are still very rough so I'll appreciate you even more for going with this option and giving me something to practice on.
The Vending Capsule
$2
Candy money. I like my gummy worms. I'm notorious for my sweet tooth and sugar highs, and sugar highs make drawing interesting. Give me a subject no matter how stupid and farfetched, and I will try to draw it (as long as it's within my does and don't). The quality of art you get relies solely on how I'm feeling. You may get a painting. You may get a half-assed doodle. You may get lineart but no color, or you may get something completely unexpected! I get total freedom and you get to have a surprise.
Now for my "don't."
I don't draw porn or anything freakish of nature... maybe if I'm drunk enough. But don't expect that to happen often, if at all.
If you have any questions, shoot me a message and I'll try to respond asap. Be sure to check out my gallery for more examples of my art, and thank you much for considering!
