Tho Todd works at Rufus and Sons, a combination hardware and auto shop, for a living having grown up on a farm Todd still will take the odd farm-hand job from time to time which is what lead him to working at the Haw Family Farm.
Tho it was all the way in Cookeville Tennessee the pay was good plus having just taken up making moonshine Todd was on the search for the best corn he could find for his new hobby and the Haw farm was send to have the best around.
Tho it took a bit of charm and convincing on Todd's part to get the calm,easy going, and no fuss Haw to hire the out-of-the-blue redneck,outgoing, and crazy Alabama fox but his skills, and the fact he slipped Billy a $50 to bend Haw's ear, paid off and Todd got the job. Tho a bit of a hard sale it turned out to well worth it as the corn lived up to it's rumored greatness but when Todd asked Haw what the secret was he only laughed and said "It's the corn man he does it all" Todd just laughed it off letting the mule have his secrets(Tho Todd could swear he saw a man made from corn from time to time in field, but that's just crazy right?)
When the season ended and Todd was do to go back to bama he planned on traded his last check for as much of the farms corn as he could get. Tho Todd tried to pass it off as he wanted it for a return home cook out Haw saw right through it saying "Alabama water and Tennessee corn does sound like a great mix for moonshine don't it?" with a sly grin that would make a fox jealous. His ruse busted Todd admitted his plans and Haw agreed to let him off for lying, if only he would bring back a few jar's for the gang to try.
So after a few hit and miss batches Todd finally found the right mix he could be proud of and loaded up a few jar's and head straight back to Haw's farm to share the fruits of his labor. After waiting till after dark to bring out the shine,after all got to cops away right?, the moonshine got the seal of approval from Haw,Jeff,and Billy but now what to call it? Well when Todd had his wife Dixie to try she had said "DANG TODD! *cough* That's so strong it could wash the musk off a fox!" So maybe Fox-wash?
