I think fire-zodiac was planned, but.. the grass types were all reptilian up until Chespin happened, and now we have an owl.. so I guess they ran out of ideas for those guys ;w;

Chespin was supposed to be based off of the first mammals, so still following the extinct animal vibe. But the owl seems to break that mold.

Litten was my favourite too! My bet is it's going to be some kinda Volcano Cat! Since it gets those volcano rises in it's fur when it attacks!!
