Well, beyond the magic of the camera, there is some research involved. I do have to tell you that most of these places aren't a legal access. Property owners want to keep people out in fear of them getting hurt, or further destroying the property. I do my best to scare the hell out of anyone I find inside who is being destructive or childish. >:)

On that note, I would suggest working outside of these places first. With your camera I mean. Get used to how your camera functions in low light conditions, how to bring out color (unless you stick with b/w). Your photography is already great, so you'll do just fine.
