i find your techniques used quite interesting. aside the watercolour shading, you used crosshatching and inking the edges of some shadows, like underneath the lowest rib, or at his flanks. it somehow reminds me of a sketchy end-19th century cartoon and caricature style.
i feel like trying out such techniques myself one day.
