Okay, are you living in some parallel universe to me? Long ago a ky00t rock climber was at the company BBQ. He was barefooted all the day. Huge soft puffy feet that stayed attractively clean all day. And such strong rock-eating toes: he climbed up the brick side of the house BAREFOOTED! And just like your scene, we were sitting at a glass top table, him figiting with his feet, and I was doing my best to NOT stare, dreaming of being just like that tiny fox, checking out his playful feet.
