somewhere in the middle of the movie the main character and his GF are stranded somewhere in brasil. a young native offers them "Any car in any colour", and when Belmondo asks his GF what colour the car should have, she answers "pink with green stars." next scene you see the drive a Ford Model A, painted rather sloppily in pink with green stars, across the streets.
the movie is funny as they come, and if you don't know it yet I'd recommend it. :)
