Command Wolf paint-sketch from last year. I need more practice with mechs...
Any other Zoid fans out there? Never watched much of the show but I've loved the kits since they first hit North America way back when. I'm slowly builiding up a small horde of them that I'll need to tackle when I have some free time. The new Koto kits are pretty sweet and detailed, but no mechanics in 'em :(! *rambleramble*

Zoid! X3
I used to love that show so much. And in my school's anime club we "relived" some of the older Toonami shows and Zoids was the first thing we watched. I also used to buy the kits. I had a Command Wolf and two others...don't remember which ones...^^;
I need to try my hand at drawing a Zoid. But this looks beautiful! I love the shading here! Also like the sandstorm thing goin' on.

OMG I love zoids. I have an army of Liger Zero variants and like 7 Shadow Foxes :3
This is awesome work. You should upload it at LU Art :) --> http://www.ligersunion.com/fandom/

Oh MAN, I love EVERYTHING ZOIDS. I was big into the show, and the models just made it all SO MUCH BETTER. And to top off the geeky parade - I just re-played the ZOIDS: Legacy game for GBA over Spring break. WHEE! :D
Mechs are HARD to draw - if I don't have a model or some REALLY NICE frame-shot of one of these buggers, it all goes to hell. You did real great with the Command Wolf! And it's nice to see it in red as opposed to the more common/show-based Blue, Black, or White.
Faved because it's awesome and geekiness. <3

*high-five* :D! Thanks man!
Ooh, I started off with the kits back in '90 or so? I only had 2 of them (Evil Pegasus+Storm Tiger) until they started introducing new kits after the popularity of the show. Haha, I picked up quite a few Liger-type Zoids after watching that XD! Do you have any favorite Zoid in particular :)?
And whut, there's a Zoids GBA game >:0? I think I'm going to have to track that down!

*HIGH FIIIIVE*
I think I started in 2000? Not sure, around whenever the show came to my attention. My first was Liger Zero for that reason, and it escalated real quick from there - though they sure make a crapload of ligers, don't they? :D My favorite might have to be Blade Liger, in part to the Chaotic Century/Guardian show series...but the Shadow Fox is sweet itself, and I'm in LOVE with Konig Wolf's design! You?
Oh yeah! S'pretty cheap on eBay, too, if you prefer owning over ROMing. You get the most out of it if you've watched at least one of the series, since there's a LOT of characters and story-bits, but it's fun nontheless!
What I really want is that elusive 3D game...I think it might be for the Nintendo Cube? Dunno, I think it's still "JAPANESE ONLY" as well. So much crying. ):

*sneak around with a low five* Hoohah!
Aye, the do have a ton of them out haha :D! Ooh, the Blade Liger is one of my faves as well, though I really like the chunkiness of the Energy Liger. Have you checked out the new Kotobukiya Blade Liger kit yet :)? It's pretty badass, with a gazillion parts haha! Hmm, I think I'm partial to Wolf and Liger models, though I sort of like the odder models as well, like the Deathpion and Molga. Haven't quite decided on a top favorite yet :D.
Ooh, I'll have to check on eBay for that then :o! Hopefully I'll be able to follow it well enough (and if not, then I guess I'll have to kick back and watch the rest of Zoids)! Is that Gamecube one where you get to customize your own Zoid :)?
I think they came out with a more recent one for the XBox (Zoids Alternative?). What really caught my eye for that one was the grungy, 'military' look of the Zoids in that :D. Hmm, just wiki'd the list of Zoid games, apparently they've done a US release of that one as well! If only I owned an Xbox though XD.

*and then a little bit of both!*
The Energy Liger is fun, but I can't get the wings/air pump action to work too well. ): Le sigh. But the Kotobukiya Blade Liger is AMAZING! Of course, doofus me, I wound up snapping the ball-joint off the head...so I had to superglue it, but, otherwise, AMAZING. <3 I hear the Shield Liger is pretty good, too, but I'm more interested in the Saber Tiger they've got out now... Though I agree some of the odder Zoids are a lot of fun, though I always find it hard to take them seriously when they're used as the most common, most ineffective Zoids in the shows/games. Poor things!
Ooh, I dunno if the Gamecube one allows Zoids customization - I haven't gotten to play yet - but that would be friggin' SWEET. As for the Xbox one, I'll have to wiki that list up immediately! DOOOO WANT! XD I had no idea there were so many games out!

A really sweet Command Wolf, kinda reminds me of "Zoids: Legacy" for the GBA XP Of course I'm a Zoids fan, even though it's the exactly opposite with me, I watch the show and played the games but have no chance to get the kits XP But I read that every series of the kit has it's own features~ You just have to pic a photo of your whole collection once *giggles and blinks* I just can't figure out why I'm not into normal Mecha series like Gundam or so, but I love Zoids and Medabots/Medarots XD
You...you're my hero in everything for this moment. <3
Especially because you custom colored a Command Wolf unit in red...BUH. Just amazing.
I still remember when the kits were sold at local stores...D: miss those days, but that hasn't stopped me from continuing to build and collect what Zoids are out there.

*high-five* I'm always so thrilled to meet other Zoid fans haha <3
Oh man, those were good times. I remember seeing piles of them because they just weren't selling well up here. I should ahve jumped on more of them ;).
Are you mostly doing the new Koto kits now or hunting for the older ones :)? I haven't followed up on the new ones since the first wave but I see they've put out quite a few more since.
