What is a home? Shelter? Or more importantly, a refuge? A sanctuary?
Often, these are seen as concrete and solid things. Something with four walls, a roof, and the like.
But what we fail to realize is that your true refuge may not be a house, a building, but something else. The presence of family members, the warm embrace of a loved one, these are what a sanctuary is to me. Somewhere you feel genuinely safe, accepted and loved. That is what a true home is for me.This is an entry for a themed contest, decided to upload it here. This one was inspired by the song "You'll be safe here" by Rivermaya.
