Inspired by the typeface of the same name. I actually whipped this up today in the space of a couple of hours. The uppercase and lowercase letters are identical - if possible, I recommend using a different color for the numerals and the uppercase letters if you want them to contrast, but that was really never the intent with this kind of typeface. The 8x8px version is alright...not completely satisfactory, but I was constrained by the size limits. The 11px proportional version came out much better-looking, though I seriously doubt anyone would want a FF6-style font that looks like this. :P Honestly, this was just a study to see if I could adapt this typeface.
BACKGROUND: I used to have a much more active hobby of designing bitmap fonts. Little (usually 8x8px monospace) fonts designed for use in older 8-bit and sometimes 16-bit video games. It was kinda fun to hack ROMs to change the text fonts. Later, when Final Fantasy VI font became readily editable in 11px high proportional typeface, I started designing proportional fonts too. Nearly all my designs are revised in subtle ways over the years.
