That would be awesome, but there may be a bit of a problem with that. It's looking doubtful that Michi would be able to get time off work from her job to go (we will have been back from our own week's vacation only three days before taking more time off). I have to think of some other way...

I know. Unfortunately, AC comes at a bad time of the year for us. We like to take our main vacation in the summer, and with AC smack-dab in the middle of the season, we would either have to take our vacation in the spring or early fall, and given our finances we'd need a lag time with which to build up a vacation budget. AC doesn't give us a lot of time to do that. Not helping is the mini-vacation we're already taking in April to help Babs move to Canada. In addition, Michi's work complicates matters because she needs at least a two month lead time with which to take off work, and she can't get time off as easily or readily as I can.

This year, unlike years past, we had to synchronize our vacation with the family she works for. They pretty much gave us a small window with which to take vacation in June, and we had to work with it. To go to AC this year, this means I would be off a week, work three days, and then take off two more for AC - hard enough for me, but impossible for Michi. And as much as we get a kick out of attending furry cons, we don't want them to be our primary vacation. We'd much prefer to see family and our Canadian friends that we haven't seen in so long. Cons, like MFF, are weekend getaway deals for us.

However, I do have an idea that I want to run by HKUriah, which, if it works out, you and I may be able to meet this year yet. I'll give ya details later...
