This GORGEOUS balloonie kitsune is courtesy of  Finalcord, who graciously let me adopt her. I just love her so much I just can't even ;w; Anyway, she has two canons:

Magic Canon:

Weight: 1lb/.454kg (5lbs/2.27kg with kimono)
Backstory: For most of her life, Mizuki Sayo was a pretty normal kitsune! But once balloons were brought to her native Japan for the first time, she instantly fell in love. Some time later, though, a mischievous yokai noticed her enjoying her balloons and cursed her to become one! This was probably the best day of her life, if you ask her. She's an expert with air and latex magic, and so she can play with balloons in ways most people can only dream of!

Science Canon:
Born: 2158
Weight: 3lb/1.36kg (8lb/3.63kg with kimono)
Backstory: Mizuki Sayo wasn't born, but created. Tempest Pneumatic Industries had induced a global phenomenon with their programmable, self-repairing, and simply adorable balloonies, latex pooltoy-like shells infused with state-of-the-art nanites. Mizuki is part of their third generation of sentient balloonies, and despite being an AI has full rights like any other fur. Nevertheless, she works for her (literal) parent company to design and test their newest balloonies, which means she was able to develop and create herself a swarm of aerosol nanites that she stores in her tails. She uses them as a sort of kitsune "magic"... even though that usually just means blowing up balloons with her mind~
