So I breed Finches, may have been mentioned before.
These are Zebra Finch chicks (Penguins I believe) being fostered by my pair of Society Finches. My Zebras had been failing at sitting pretty badly and so I stole a clutch of their eggs (4 in all) to give to the Societies, who are doing wonderfully. They are extremely attentive parents.
I have a local pet shop who is going to buy my chicks once they are weaned. They are three days old in this photo.

Well you cant hear them yet at this point, they have about two more days before they start getting loud. Its really cute about their mouths because they are almost fluorescent and instead of just wiggling their heads wildly like most finch babies they turn them back and forth really cute like.
I had another pair of regular ones that were excellent parents, these white ones though... He would mate with her and not build her a nest so she would lay them in the bare wicker and not sit. Meanwhile the societies kept laying infertile eggs, so I switched them out. The white male finally made a nest this week so maybe they will sit the next clutch. So many things can go wrong with the little buggers. They are a blast though.
