Driven to the brink of extinction by an alien race known as the Dominion, trans-humanity is forced to leave behind its worlds to cower in distant systems. With little hope of retaking what was lost the Exodus missions has been launched; a mass exploration program into deep space to find new colony worlds untouched by the Dominion.

Read through the personal logs of the AI specialist Dr Haught, as he and the crew of the Maidens Embrace transverse the furthest reaches of the universe. Written in journal form the setting and story are formed as Haught gives his personal opinions on matters at hand.
