Listen only to the sound of my voice. Let your mind relax. Let your thoughts drift. Let the bad memories fade. Let peace be upon you. Surrender yourself to your dreams. Let them wash over you like the gentle waves of the bluest ocean. Let them envelop you. Comfort you.
Imagine somewhere calm. Imagine somewhere safe. Imagine yourself in a frozen forest. You're standing in a clearing. Trees around you so tall, they touch the sky. Pure white snowflakes fall all around. You can feel them melt on your skin. You are not cold. It cannot overcome the warmth of your beating heart. Can you hear it? You only have to listen.
You hear it slowing? You're slowing it. You are in control. Calm. At peace.
Small speedy picture of frozen forest. Wanted to try to draw snow...

I actually dig the composition of this quite a bit! The shadowy figure is placed in the lower right corner causing the viewer to actually not even notice it when first looking at this as they work their way from the top of the foremost tree to the ground and find the figure there. Cool use of composition I have to admit.
Also about snow,I feel you could have used some blues in there too for the shadows of it, but I think the monotone color scheme actually probably works in your favor in this one, if you went for a fluffy look with the snow I think you nailed it pretty well. What I feel would probably complete this scene is if you worked a bit more with the far background, added perhaps a few more trees there or some brighter spots where the light would be passing through the trees, giving an illusion that the forest goes much farther than it seems.

Thanks for your comments! I made this picture pretty quickly, during one evening. Usually I spend several evenings for whole picture and trying to work more carefully with details within my capabilities. As for trees... Well, I know they look strange, even despite the fact I used several references of winter forest - I just stuck with their drawing because of my inexperience and drawing back rows of trees for creating an illusion of vast forest simply would take a long time.
I took into account your remarks.
