xK2x I tried to stick to a slightly more toony style in this one. I love the body, especially the legs. <3
Pretty happy with how it turned out, I got the main body color way too orange. I loved the pose too much to not share.
The scanner ate the shading but I got to use Sam's markers as a base so I was all ecstatic(I miss my markers).
I'm happy, she's dooin a one hand stand, or a cartwheel or something.
<3 Hope you like.

I was late on commenting for free art and you said you might draw Mazz anyway because you liked her. You don't have too though, I just liked your character and wanted to draw her for a while and it gave me an excuse. XD
<3 I'm glad you like it, I'll have to make you something else less orange eventually since the orange is driving me nuts.

heyyy hun! I'm finally getting to critiquing something! XD well anyway.
First, here's the redline: http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/.....emedy/redlines for critique/mazzk2_redline.png
So overall, you did a really good job with this! Handstands are hard, and you did good. There's not a lot off, also good ^_^. First off, I defined her wrists a little more. Toony or not, her wrists looked a little tube-like. (the line under her hand was more for my brain to plant her hand correctly, and has nothing to do with how you drew it. You did very nicely with that). On the left hand, the one taking her weight, I brought out the shoulder muscle since that shows when you bring your arm over your head. I also noticed that your elbows tend to sit a little low, so I corrected that, they should measure from shoulder to the bottom of the ribcage, even when extended overhead. Her body's mostly fine, her ribcage was slightly lopsided, but it came out nice. In comparison to her arms, her extended leg was too short and the knee was drawn too high although the dip in the leg where the kneecap went was drawn correctly. I lengthened her extended leg, and also that foot, as they appeared too short and therefore too clunky, but kept the cartoony style, as you can see. I also corrected the lowered leg, as it appeared that she had a digitigrade style leg on one, and a plantigrade on the other... also defined her crotch a little more as it was a little *too* rounded. As for the breasts: I added nipples only so that you could see how they were supposed to look. Remember that the breasts have weight, and they're affected at least a little by gravity, no matter what direction your body is pointed. I wish I could give you a photo ref, but I couldn't find any nude women doing a handstand, so I did my best to articulate how it would likely look. One thing that can help too is to make sure that you draw the breasts the way you would upright u u but turn them around so the curves point like this n n toward the face.
Hope this helps! I really like how this came out overall. Nice work! ^_^
If anything needs explaining, or you need expanding on anything, please let me know.

Oh wow, thankyou for the really well written critique and the redline. I see what you mean on where I made my mistakes. I was having issues with the leg where I drew the kneecap too high. It's good to see what I should have done; really helpful. Thank you for the awesome amount of tips it really will help me in future pictures. <3
Hopefully I'll have some muse to draw something else sometime soon. I've been off my meds for the first and my energy is gone. If anything I'll be back to my old self in April at least.
p.s. I did get the link to work, it didn't post right but I figured it out and got it to work so I could see the redline.
