I agree with Benji's sentiment there. You get adopted.... it doesn't matter what came before, what matters that the ones who you end up with chose you, they Wanted you and wanted to love you and bring you into their family. I know that feeling well, and I'm grateful for it. Nice to see an adoption portrayed other than the stereotypical resentment thing.
