Thank you! It's been a while since I've drawn Neopets. This drawing was actually my very first neopets fan art pieces. At the time I wanted to show a moment in time where the viewer would stumble up behind her, and have her in the process of turning around. It looks more static than I planned. As for the background, it was made with a shareware 3D terraforming program which I have sadly since lost. Thank you so much for commenting, I didn't expect anyone to notice this. :)
Well, I'm glad I did. I'm a HUGE Zafara fan and, since FA has brought back the "Search" feature, I have been mining for buried treasures like yours.
I can see exactly what you were trying for in this shot, too. The eyes kind of tell that an oncomer has been spotted and she is about to turn and face the friend, or foe, before her.
