The SA-32 Gryphon Starfury is the successor to the SA-31 Falcon Starfury and as such, shares some structural design elements with the SA-31 Falcon. The Gryphon would ultimately lead to the design of the SA-33 Scorpion Atmospheric Fighter. In the event of catastrophic damage to the fighter, the cockpit and nose section of the Gryphon could be ejected to safety.
