[Vore story] From irritation to desperation

Mitch stared intensely at the fireless campfire, like he was trying to set fire to it with his anger, and let the stone hit the flint for the fiftieth time. But, to his growing anger and irritation, so did no flames appear. If you don't count the sparks, which just simply flew from his hands and landed on the wood in front of him. Without causing the smallest of burn marks. ''Oh, come on!!'' He then suddenly shouted and threw his fire making tools onto the ground next to him and stood up, disappointed and angry. ''Are the branches and twigs too moist or something? Or do I simply have the worst piece of flint in the world?! I don't know! I have no clue what the problem is!! I. just. don't. now.'' He grabbed one of biggest twigs from his campfire and began to examining it thoroughly. ''It doesn't feel wet anywhere and as far as I know so shouldn't it be any less dry on the inside of it as it is on the outside.'', He then snapped it in two and let his fingers touch the newly created tips, ''Nope! I can't feel anything. Except for a dry, dry, twig.'' Mitch sighed and threw it back onto the pile of wood. ''Well, I guess some of them might be a bit less dry on the inside, than the rest of them. but...-'', he turned towards the sinking sun, ''-it has still been such a fricking hot day today that I...would be quiet surprise if I actually found any water wet branches around here.''
He took a moment to stare at the sunset and watch as it slowly vanished behind the mountains by the horizon. The yellow light, which was disappearing more and more, still had the strength to light up the cave around him. But it wouldn't take long before he had to have his own light source to protect himself with and light up the nights approaching darkness. ''Sigh, I guess I'll just have to keep trying, don't I? I mean, I don't really have the strength, or the warmth, to take a stick and try to drill a hole through a branch until it starts to burn because of it.'' As the night had begun to fall, so had the warmth pretty much done the same, and it wouldn't take long before he would start to freeze because of the pore choice of clothes he was wearing. Which he had chosen for a warm day, and not for a getting lost in the forest day.
Mitch sat himself back down on the cold cave floor and let his gaze wander towards the dark back of the cave. He hadn't gone that far into it when he had first found it and made it his shelter, so it still hadn't been completely explored.''I wonder how far into the mountain it goes.'' He wondered and were just about to continue with his seemingly fruitless task to get warm, when he began to hear a strange sound somewhere behind the trees outside the cave. He turned his head towards the direction where the sound came from, a bit startled by it, and sharpened his ears. ''W-what was that?'' He thought nervously and began to stand up, as it sounded like the sound just became louder and louder after every second that passed. ''Or maybe I should ask...WHAT..is that?''
The noise just became louder and louder as he began to slowly back away, into the darkness of the cave. While he kept his eyes fixed on the greenery in front of him. Not knowing what to expect from it. He also turned his head to the side, as he was walking backwards, throwing an eye into the pitch blackness which he was approaching. ''I really hope there are something there right now. Hopefully A hole? Maybe an entrance to a tunnel leading all the way to another cave that would get me home and as far away from this place as possible? Or is there just going to be nothing but a hard stone wall there? If I would have to...run'' He then twitched violently as he became painfully aware of the sound again and how it had gotten even louder and closer than before. He began to shake, as the familiar sound of someone running could be heard from the sound, together with sound of someone stepping on a bunch of branches and twigs. ''Is it...a human?'', he wondered with a bit of fear, ''I mean, it sounds like...whatever is coming, only has two legs, but...its footsteps sounds just too heavy to be something like that, and...!!!'' Then, after being just a half meter away from the darkness behind him, so broke the something through the trees and bushes in front of him and showed itself in its gigantic form.
In the middle of Mitch's fear and panic, which he had gotten after that somewhat unexpected and terrifying entrance, so was the only thing he could do for the moment to stay completely still, with his eyes aimed at the ground.''W-w-what is that thing?! And what do I do now?'' He wondered, scared and unsure. He didn't know what to do or why he had chosen to do what he had done just now, but one thing was clear. And that was that he had to be extremely...careful right now. So he began to listened after any sounds of movement from the creatures part. Footsteps, breathing, anything that would give away any signs of danger. But he only heard the usual forest sounds and...nothing else. It actually began to take such a long time for him to hear anything that he began to wonder if the creature, or monster, were even there anymore. So, stupidly enough from his part, did he look up, meeting one of the creatures big eyes a meter away from him. He stared straight into, before he said- ''Crap.''- and then turned around surprisingly quick and ran into the darkness behind and vanished.
Mitch, who was somewhat surprised by the sudden amount of tunnels and caverns that he had entered, turned left and right as he ran passed one opening after the other. Not knowing where to go as he kept on listening after the monster behind him. ''What was that thing?!'', he wondered, as he took a right turn passed som big rocks and into another tunnel, ''Some kind of giant or something?! Its at least not some kind of creature which I have ever heard of! I mean, I think I saw some spikes sticking out from it or something and it looked like it was about 20ft tall or something!'' He then, annoyingly enough, slipped and fell onto the hard stone floor below him, having his right arm take the most damage as he landed uncomfortably on it. ''Ugh, crap!'' He the said, right after that, as he went up on his knees and grabbed his hurting arm, cringing as the pain shot through it like a knife. To his lack of luck so had it hit a sharp stone that had been laying on the hard gound for quiet a while, until he had fallen onto it and made it slide and jump down into a small dark crack, half a meter away from him.Standing up and looking back, searching for any signs of the creature, so was he quiet surprised to see that he couldn't catch the slightest of movement or indication of it being somewhere close by. It was, to put it simply, dead silent and lifeless around him. ''Where is it?''
He began to quietly walk forward, keeping his ears and eyes as sharp as they could be in the darkness that surrounded him. Of curse, so did his ears have an easier time than his eyes because of his lowered sight senses, but it still wasn't too hard to make out the various outlines and shapes around him. And that was all thanks to the cracks in the roof which let a little bit of the disappearing sunlight inside. He rubbed his hands against his could body and walked carefully through the caverns, trying to find a way out and far away from the monster. ''I wonder if it has stopped chasing me. Did it even chase me from the start?'', he sighed, ''No matter if it did or not so is going back to find out its intentions...still a pretty bad idea anyway and I shouldn't do it, of course. ''
He looked down on the floor and watched as the water from this underground system slipped passed his shoes and continued down the path he had come from. He hoped he would be able find the exit soon, to finally breathe some fresh air, and before it became too dark to randomly search for a new shelter to rest and maybe sleep in. But as he was about to take his first step into another tunnel, so did he take notice of something weird. A hot wind that was hitting him ever fifth second. He turned his head left and right, trying to figure out where it came from, at the same time as he asked himself. ''What's going on? Is there a crack in the wall somewhere around here or something? I mean, geez. It's almost like someone is breathing down my....'' It was then he heard something big slide across the ground and as he looked up...came one of the monsters shining eyes into his sight...and blinked at him.
Mitch didn't even get the chance to scream for help, not that it would have chanced anything, before one of the creature's big hands wrapped itself around him and lifted him up into the air. It wouldn't have been an overstatement to say that he in that moment really whished that the caverns had been a lot smaller than what they were. He was shaking violently, thanks to the combination of the cold and his fear for what the monster were probably going to do.
It eyed him up and down, like it was wondered which part of his body would make a good first treat. Mitch shivered by the sight of that, but as the last bit of sunlight slipped through the cracks to the side of them and shined upon the big creature, so was the only thing Mitch could do next...to stare. With his mouth wide open.
Finally being able to catch a good look at the monster, so was there one which was completely clear about it now. That it wasn't anything that he had ever seen or heard about in his whole life. The creature had dark blue...or maybe dark purple colored legs and arms. And It was the same for the head of it and its chest, but that color didn't cover its entire body, as a more silver gray one could be seen from in between its shoulders and in between the upper parts of its anthro legs and by the lower parts of them. To him, so was it was almost like looking at an armored lizard standing on two legs. With about a third of its face being colored gray, all the way from around its mouth to its forehead and up to its....hair covered head? Mitch continued to let his eyes examen the monster thing and, to his surprise, so did he notice that one of its eyes were red. While the other one had a light and almost white blue color. ''Could it possibly be blind?'' He wondered, staring at it. Just as he was suddenly turned upside down and hung from above a not so inviting reptile like mouth.
He looked down with fear and tried to free himself, but it was already too late for that as the creature just opened its hand and dropped Mitch straight down into his maw and closed it swiftly. Mitch grunted and whined as the monster's tongue pushed him against the roof its mouth and rolled him around, tasting every single part of his body with an obvious delight and satisfaction. He tried hit the creatures teeth and pretty much anything that came into punching or kicking range, but he always ended up being interrupted by the monsters giant snake tongue. It didn't take long until he was already drenched, from top to toe, in saliva, or what he at least thought was saliva, unsure as he had gotten by the creatures armor wearing look. Which had made it almost made it a bit robot like.''What is even this thing?'', Mitch shouted, while spitting, ''A reptile human or something? And why does it smell so weird in here? Like...I don't know, burnt rubber?!'' But before he could come to a conclusion, so didn't he get any more time to think about any of that, as he felt how the monster leaned its head backwards, making Mitch slide further back towards its throat. ''No!'', he shouted and tried to grab on to something, but before he could do anything more. Swallowed it him, sucking him down into the tight tunnel of it throat. Struggling wasn't an option anymore as he could only feel himself slide down towards the digestive system and the stomach of the creature. As well as the giant muscles pushing him down to the place where he was probably going to spend the rest of his now...shortened life, in. But despite where he was going, so did he still give the soft walls around him a good couple of kicks and punches. Before he felt himself slip into a big area and landed with splash in what he thought was the creatures stomach acid. After managing to sit up, so did he looked around the somewhat empty place which he had entered and sighed, defeated. ''Great...now what?''
Shadow Striker chuckled happily as she felt the little human enter her stomach and gave her belly a pat as she began to crawl her way back out from caverns. Ones outside and breathing the fresh night air, so did she sit down besides the big cave exit, before she turned her head towards the moon, licking her lips. The night came pretty quickly, she thought. While she was debating over if she was going to digest her catch or not. She had been pretty surprised to find that little guy just standing there inside the big cave, and not wanting to waste the opportunity to get something out of him, so did she chase after him to...well..catch him. She poked her metal belly and yawned. And that had been a success. But she then turned towards the dark forest. and thought ''It's getting late.'', while stretching out her tired body, ''I think I'll just go back and decide to what do with the little guy later.'' She then stood up and started walking, away from the cave and the caverns, and with her metal body shining and throwing shadows all around her. And with Mitch, surprisingly enough, sleeping quietly inside of her.
The end
