Someone doesn't like hail it seems.

I would wager a guess to say there's not a lot of people in the world who love it... so I don't think Draghi is in the minority here.

You'd be quite surprised that there are some folks who enjoy it. XD

they are probably not people who livei n houses or have gardens or do any sort of framing or plant growing or ffarming in general. It can probably impress people who would have nothing to loose to a hail storm...

how would you even protect agaisnt a severe hailstorm? I have a suspicion umbrellas wouldn't be very usefull... you have me quite intrigued now.

I wasn't thinking of a severe one, just a minor pebbly one. XD

oh well those aren't so bad... still wouldn't want to really be out in one simply for the potential to turn in to am roe severe version. I personally can't ejoy hailstorms because I have a roof that can get damaged and a vegetable garden that can be runed by hail... so it would be accurate to say hail is not one of my favorite weather phenomenas.

Totally understandable. Severe weather can ruin a lot of things. I was thinking of hail in a playful light; my younger brother and I ran out from under the leafy shelter when it rained heavily during a vacation we took years ago. It was really fun getting wet from heavy rain.

i always wanted to do that when I was a child, but my parents wouldn't let me because I would catch a cold. In hindsight they were probably correct ( i get sick easelly ).

I do too, to be honest. But it was just one of those "you gotta do this as a kid" moments because I'll probably never get another chance like that.

Impressive tech, I didn't know his shield could expand, and YES mother, it's just a mild..wait...hail, thunder and lightning...oh hells, is a tornado commin his way?

we don't really get tornadoes here, a severe hailstorm is the wost we got, which is what is happening here.

And his shield can't really expand. It extands a fixed amount beyond his body... so in order to make it bigger, he has to sprawl out on top of Draghi, so that his body ( and thus the shield protecting it ) will cover the largest surface... but it isn't enough to cover Draghi entierly.

His mother isn't really worried, because Jon is perfectly safe. The rain and the cold won't affect him, and his shield will protect him against hail and lightning ( should it strike ). Only Draghi is really in any sort of discomfort here.

Well discomfort, not major danger, I mean the big scaly thing has some thick skin. still...I'm assuming Draghi's hind quarters and sides are very sensitive...so he'd have to sprawl on Draghi's neck to protect his head and rib region...but, that'd leave his buttocks in the open

Draghi has some bony plates on his spine, but the rest of him is fairly... tender shall we say. Not enouygh that he would sustain any real injury... just bruises... but they DOO hurt, and Draghi is ever so unused to that concept.
