This is the full picture from today's comic. I really liked the finished picture and figured I would post it out of its comic format. And add a cute little mini story for it. =)
Ravage cried out in pain and surprise as the control panel in front of him exploded, knocking him back a bit. He had been trying to fix what he had thought was a minor problem, but instead it had blown up in his face, literally. He growled softly as pain, something he wasn't accustomed to, suddenly made itself known in his leg and he looked down. A shard of metal had embedded itself in his leg, having pierced through his combat suit. He touched at it gingerly and winced. It was deep, and not something that would heal over quickly like the small cuts he got usually would. The coalition had added enough dragon DNA when they had made him and the team, so that minor injuries healed nearly instantly, but this was something a little more serious.
The other three from his team came back from around the vehicle to see what had happened. Thrash sighed and rolled his eyes in aggravation at the delay, shouldering his weapon he gestured for Chaos to go see just what it was that Ravage had done this time. Havoc frowned softly with concern and came over, pushing Ravage to the ground to get a better look at his wound. Chaos shook her head in annoyance and pulled out her tools to start fixing whatever damage had been done.
Havoc's hands were gentle, and Ravage silently marveled at how soft they were. He knew that those hands had been trained to kill, he had seem them do so more then once. And yet they were soft and tender. This was a quiet time for them. They had been sent out to retrieve the broken vehicle, and for a few moments, were free of the constant surveillance of the CO's. Though they still didn't speak, and did only what they were sent for, Ravage would pause to enjoy the few moments of respite.
Though that was quickly gone as Havoc suddenly yanked out the shrapnel that had pierced his leg, making him grunt in pain. She then quickly bandaged it, trying it off. It would take a few hours to fully heal. By the time Chaos was finished with the repairs, he should be fine. Though he was likely going to get punished for damaging yet another combat suit...
