Kitsune are rather famous for creating small balls of light, not necessarily foxfire, called 'hoshi no tama', and playing with them. According to the legends the balls are actually a small piece of the kitsune's spiritual essence that they have turned into a ball (some legends say that if you manage to steal a kitsune's ball then you can get them to do anything you wish).

 bladespark was holding a contest, and today's the last day to enter. I had almost completely forgotten about it until I saw her journal this morning. So I have spent, literally, all day doing this. And frankly I am pretty damned pleased with it.

I drew her character Flame Song Firedancer with Hikari in her feral form, playing with the infamous kitsune ball. The criteria of the contest was to draw one of her character's 'doing stuff' so I think this counts. XD

EDIT: Didn't win *sadface* Ah well. Perhaps another time.
