More from Nanuka
This is what I've got planned for my new character; explained in my [dA journal]!
Poorly executed sketch, but it's just as a base. D;
• Kept the eye concept from 'Nuka, since I do medically have problems in my left eye. I just changed it to suit my favourite colours.
• Used my honest, current hairstyle. It's not all spikey in the back and curled in the front anymore, nor is it crazy colours, lol.
• She has my snakebites, navel ring, promise ring and collar.
• Put 'freckles' on the face and forearms (and back whenever I get around to drawing it) since I have them. :c
• Added a bit more weight in the midsection and made the fur more "fluffy" to show how I've become accustomed to the cold weather now.
• Crazy large tail from the fox, but also in remembrance of just about all my first characters having them originally.
• Fully digitigrade legs to be anatomically correct, but they're also just more fun to draw, lol.
• The "tears" are from the Blandford fox, but the mask is from the Balinese cat.
• Ear size is from the fox, the colour and inner fur is from the cat.
• Base brown, gray areas and tail tip are from the fox - where as the brown on the tail and "gloves" are from the cat.
• The white fingers/toes & stomache are from the fox.
• Shorter snout because I always forget to draw it that way.
This is not final, but I like where it's going. (:

D: thats a shit load of work isnt it? or do you know of some trick that i havent found out about yet? cuz the way i do it is i lock the layer so that i can only shade on the color ive already applied.
and ick! id hate being almost blind in one eye. maybe i should walk around with one contact in to see what its like.
