A strange vision.
And very different in feel.
For years on end, I have been periodically haunted by intense nightmares that I remember vividly. Visions of dying worlds, small slices of lives that are unaware that live the next day of their lives unaware it is their last, only for... things... to come. Impossible things, that the universe cannot bear, the very fabric of space and time shuddering in pain and revulsion from their very touch.
Those are not humanoid things. They do not have such reassuring human-like traits as having faces, limbs, or a human or animal-like structure. As moving by walking, swimming, or flying. They do not obey the rules of our limited perceived world and its feeble possibilities. They do not fear death or mere applied physics. In fact, the laws of logic are mere suggestions to those things.
They are not angerls. They are not demons. They are not gods. They are not aliens. They are nothing a common human intellect can comprehend.
And when their touch reach worlds, those worlds die. But not in the way people might often think. There is no great war. There is no great decay. There is nothing grandiose that an observer could qualify or describe. It is not even death as usually understood. It is an effect akin to the things: something other, difficult to comprehend yet somehow, deeply wrong.
Impossible shapes and concepts merge together. Is it possible to glimpse at things that exist in more than three dimensions?
With the years, as to not be driven mad, I have taken to banish the visions and the creatures within into blank pages of writing and drawing. Though I cannot possibly hope to create accurate representations of those things, I have taken to describing them.
As for your story... if it is simply a horror snippet, interesting idea. If it is truly a excerpt from a nightmare... then I appreciate that you would share with us strangers the dark thoughts and visions that haunts you. As you lend us this invitation, we shall walk this dark road together and see where it leads, even if in circles.

In all the years I have been wandering, it has been a treat to actually hear from another soul in greater detail of their own dreams. An eerie similarity we would share in description, and very beautiful! It's rather a treat for myself as the wandering thoughts and fleeting dreams of the nocturn are things I am more reluctant to withhold than share in vivid detail. Come sit with myself sometime. Would love to hear of your own things.
