Time to spill the beans.
There are 2 types of "Shadow" Regular O.C Shadow who is adorable innocent(usually) talkative and friendly... Then there is
Selree(Shadow) Who is a more serious and down to earth Raptor, He also has his own Armour. He has a LONG and complicated backstory and even universe where Dinosaurs seem to have evolved more mentally allowing them to create agraculture and as time progresses so does their skills eventually they create their own "protective services" This is what Selree is part of, it's a blend between Military operations and Police force.

As stated before the 3 primary colours represent ranks in this Force.

Blue = Recruite
Red = Petty Officer
Green = Ranking Officer

Shadow command his own "squad" Which consists of 2 other raptors, Seera & Wrex.

Names for the raptors in this universe are quite simple, Most Raptors have 3 letter names "Sel" "See" However, the suffix "Ree" and "ra" are given to military Members, However Due to the basic naming system the Raptors have, they receive more than 1 name, They have a
1, Birth name "Sel"
2, Family name "Tormana"
3, Identification Name "Shadow"

Meaning He can go by either of these names or combinations, "Sel" "Tormana" "Shadow" "Shadow Tormana" "Sel Tormana" "Sel Shadow" ect.

Stripes:
Here comes the "Secret" to Raptors in this universe... Stripes on a raptor actually indicate a "mutation" 73% of Raptors don't have stripes.
Only Raptors with Stripes can join the Military and or police side of the Force where as Non striped Raptors can only join the Police side.
87% Of striped Raptors are Female. Every female raptor has stripes.

The stripes are an indication of an "extra" organ inside the raptors which rapidly excels their healing system, This extra organ can also produce a slippery secretion Which when applied to a wound from another being can acellerate the healing of said wound. Making the females and Striped male Raptors top priority for Both Warriors and Doctors.

Shadow:
Selree/Shadow was born without stripes but later as he aged began to form stripes,, this unknown phenomenon still cannot be explained by the Raptors but they assume this "extra" organ is in every raptor but is inactive for males except for a rare few and perhaps something can "activate" this organ" but what it is that can do that remains unknown.

76 - Striped Males
