Couldn't pass up these two while shopping for something completely different.
Barely a week after the purchase, I catch the game these two are meant for was discontinued by Disney. Valuable pair in the far off future? Who knows.

Since the game has just been discontinued for the on-line functions, it could be possible that these figures could just vanish from store shelves. While at the store, I did already notice that the 2.0 figures were in a discount drop bin. Nick & Judy are among the 3.0 wave and I imagine have only been available for the last several months or more. They could become somewhat rare and maybe even valuable. After all, these figures are intended for unlocking parts of a game. One that I don't know too much about. Is this game totally dependent on those on-line functions to do anything? (Like Destiny.) If not, these figures may become sought after. As stores may not want to eat up four/eight whole feet of valuable space to figures that work with a half functional game. It's anyone's guess if they'll stick around or fall into discount bins...or just be bought out. I picked them up, pre-announcement. And last time I checked the store, post-announcement, the large display of 3.0 figures was still set.
i don't think i've ever bought anything at the disney store in my local mall. i'm not even sure they have one. i know they have a sanrio/hello kitty store, which i've never bought anything there either. i know somebody had a bunch of little tiny zootopians, who looked like they might be just right for the layout. they looked smaller then these look. i'm guessing the ones i want are for a limited time in fast food kids meals, but i don't know that.
i don't care about collector's value, but i am always on the lookout to furry populate my miniature world.

Looking at Nick right now. Might take a guess that the figurine is a good six inches tall. I imagine they are made that big because these figures are intended to be held in the hand or even grasped and placed upon a particular spot on a game controller or a 'docking station' attachment. And since they are for a game that Disney had just discontinued, such characters can be found in stores that sell video games. In fact, I can imagine that such stores may be relieved to stop stocking these characters. They really wind up being quite the army that eats up a ton of space. It's something that Spyro started and it just spiraled out of control. The ultimate in Download Content by having a wireless chip inside the figurine.
