"I've waited,
clutching tight to ambiguous
shreds of tarnished grandeur,
convinced that Eden's gate
is just around the next corner."
So late last night, I was sitting at my computer, preparing to knock out for the night, and... well, then this happened. Who needs sleep anyway, right? Beyond that, I'll just let the poem speak for itself, as I find myself uncharacteristically with little else to say about it.
As always, I'm open to hear any thoughts or comments you might have. Thanks for reading.
