I love the facial expressions on these guys. That bottom cat is my favorite with that sour attitude. Haha such a cat. What a fantastic idea. I'll have to keep and eye on this project

The same thing!

Being mostly just critters they don't make as big of a deal of gender and gender norms as people might.

I always called male merpeople as "mermaids" regardless of gender. Ariel's dad and brother were "mermaids" too.
