That's the beauty of the 3D program, once you have everyone placed you can play with the lighting and the shot angles.
In this case though, you can see the ship wasn't really on the display and things like the chakat's hindquarters and tail and Cindy's right arm weren't posed because they wouldn't be seen from the other angle.
