Okay, so I was trying to work through some artist's block, when I went sifted through recent submissions. I saw a rather cute one that gave me inspiration for a way to present my own version of this Japanese classic.

I find the idea of free floating creatures to be a favorite of mine. Therefore the first peculiarity of this breed of kitsune is that their flight abilities are directly tied to their tails. More tails would give a greater speed and height to their already impressive airborne skills.

I found this particular picture to look a bit too much like the pokemon Mew. Therefore I'll be altering, and perfecting, this style for future submissions.
