The whole of yesterday I felt very down and depressed like my life has no bearing or worth anymore. You know that feeling in your heart when you know something is wrong or that something bad is about to happen. *Sad Growl*
Something is missing and I know what it is, the affection of another. I know that sounds lame, but it’s the truth we are nothing with out our other. The Zulu proverb best describes it ‘Ubuntu’ it means ‘We are who we are, through other people.’ And this is very true.
In order to get my mind off my heart I decided to go and expel or channel my sad frustrated energy on something productive. I remembered seeing a composition by ZenTiger commemorating his mate’s birthday Icelyon and then it came to me. I decided to draw Icelyon a little something to commemorate his fursona and ultimately the union of these two amazing furs. *Yearning Sigh* [link]
I’m actually very impressed and surprised to see how good it turned out. I adore it and I’m still getting over the feeling of seeing such a level of craft even from these unprofessional paws. You see what happens when you channel energy in a productive manner, strange and beautiful things start to happen. ^^
During my 2nd Year of Multimedia Design we have been practicing illustration techniques and character development in class. Thus I merged my love for plushies and Chibies to create a plushie chibi furry character. I’m a little jealous for I love how Icelyon’s character came out he is so cute and adorable. “Just wish I had the inspiration to make him my character instead.”
This composition instilled another idea for another composition along the lines of three plushies one with his paws over his ears, one over his eyes and another with his paws over his mouth. Playing on ‘See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil’. Maybe I’ll do Icelyon’s mate ZenTiger in plush chibi form and maybe they can choose another furry artist to complete the composition.
Well I’m tired because I stayed up all night doing this, but I’m proud of it and I hope Icelyon loves it as much as I enjoyed making it for him. I think I really developed a sound concept for line weight, shading and shadows. My compositions now pop out of the screen and that is what I’ve been trying to achieve for years. Thank you Icelyon and ZenTiger.
I hope Icelyon has a lovely birthday and please if you have the time just stop by and wish him a happy birthday for his birthday is not the only thing they are celebrating. For they have just moved into their new apartment and Zen is almost there in becoming a fully fledged British citizen!

I think you did a great job ^.^ Don't count yourself as untalented, most of the time we are comparing ourselves to people with much more experience than ourselves. I personally think you do have talent, and it's up to you where you want to go with that.
And i also know the feeling of wanting someone. It's hard, but you did the best thing to try and get through it. There's someone out there for you, never give up looking :3
