for those of you who don't follow me on tumble (link at the bottom of the description) I'm currently doing a 'cannon run' of Pokemon X. I have Sneasel as my starter (i switched my chosen starter out with her as soon a i got to the first Pokemon center), and I'm unlocking Meowstic, Emolga, Minin Goodra and Mint in the order they met Miles, one after each gym and after the Snorlax battle because of the enormous gap between the first and second gym gyms. As of this post I've defeated Grant, and i'm part way though reflection cave on my way to Shalour City and gym no.3

as part of the rules of the run, Pokemon are ported into the game at Level 10, meaning that Meowstic starts as a Espurr and Goodra starts as a Goomy, Pokemon also cannot evolve past their cannon equivalent, so neither Sneasel or mint will ever become Weavile and Mint will never evolve into a Pangoro.

While the team is fairly balanced I am a tad concerned about the power gap between Minun and Goodra, but I think that's about fair as Minun will be taking on more a supporting role for the team.
