I never really thought about it before, but isn't it kind of weird how in Pokemon, you can send the Pokemon you're surfing on into battle?

How does that even work? Kinda like this I'd imagine.

EDIT: Ok so this is a huge coincidence! I'd seen Katie Tiedrich's comic about sending Graveler out to fight in a water battle, but I'd never seen the comic she made directly before that one, which is exactly this situation. :B So I guess someone came up with this idea before me! Sorry, didn't mean to copy! It was a coincidence! But definitely check her comics out, they're hilarious and I love them.
