Generation 4 head.
Blue = foam camping mat- Tip from
rarakie
Green= nice foam you'll find at Jo-ann's, Hancock's, or Hobby Lobby (usually, not always)
Fur= can be picked up from any of the 3 stores listed above
Dog= my real pitbull/border collie mix named Roxie- she was basically the thing that gave me the idea to make a head that looked similar to hers (It'd look closer if I had an air brush).
Why this breed of dog? Something unique to give to the fandom. I have yet to see a pit/border mix in a fursuit, so here's the first (most likely the first).
PLEASE NOTE: Thanks to the camera on my phone, the muzzle looks much longer than what it really is. I'm not sure what it's problem is. Maybe it's the angle of the camera and maybe it's just the lens inside. All I know is that it shows an incorrect length of the muzzle. Think of it about 2-3 inches shorter.
The head is very breathable actually. I poked a bunch of holes in the muzzle base and left several spaces/openings throughout the head to help out.
EVERYHING MADE BY ME IS STRESS-TESTED TO MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T COME APART! However, these are only under NORMAL conditions. If you pull, yank, or put excessive force on anything of course it will break! These things aren't meant for you to be trying to rip off the muzzle or ears, so please don't. Treat it like it was a real animal. You wouldn't be trying to rip your dog's ears off right?
Nose was made of felt this time (As much as I dislike it because it collects everything and well have fun 'cleaning' it off, I'll be using it probably for the next 2 or so heads.)
Days taken to construct: 3-4 days. Generally I stayed up late to about 3 AM working on this thing and I'd start around 4 PM the previous afternoon.
My dog is a female, but the costume has no name OR gender so you're more than welcome to call it whatever you please.
