It is that time again. Another brilliant
pac sketchpage, this time of the kids of the Kane Chronicles characters, 25 years in the future.
1. First, we have Dr Friederich von Richter and his twins, Danny and Jenny. Or rather, Dr Jennifer von Richter and Captain Daniel von Richter. Jennifer has become a brilliant physicist and works at the Global Space Agency in astrodynamics. Daniel joined the United States Air Force, and is now a candidate to become an astronaut. Friederich is the Director of Science Operations at the Space Agency, and he could not be more proud of his kids. And with them is the twins favorite uncle in the world, T-Balt! He still likes to call them "The Tadpoles", and the kids love him like family. And, if rumors are to be believed, they still like to climb on him.
2. It took a while (much longer than his mother liked), but Allan Willis finally found himself an orca lady he loved. They got married and had his pride and joy, little Brian Willis. Here, Brian is ten years old, playing at the beach with his dad. Allan finally feels as if everything has clicked into place in his life, and loves being a father. Little Brian is not actually so little. He is showing the same growth spurt his dad experienced at the same age. Brian is going to be as big as his dad!
3. Like father, like son. Henry Mason became a senior agent in the Global Defence Agency, the group created by General Stephen Winchell to defend against Goddard Kane's army. His adopted son Alex followed in his father's footsteps. He spent a large part of his childhood training with Henry's friends and fellow agents. By the time Alex entered Basic Training at the age of 20, he was already qualified to be an agent. Now he is 25, and ready to serve with Alpha Squad, under the command of his own dad, Senior Agent Henry Mason.
4. Anastasia Martel, the adopted daughter of Renee and Svetlana Martel, also decided to join the Agency. The young iguana discovered that she had a real talent for long range shooting. She went to sniper school and graduated in the top 5% of her class. No army would accept her into combat duty (it is 1963, and women can't serve in combat) but the Global Defence Agency accepts all qualified applicants regardless of species, gender, or nationality. She was partnered with Adele Durant, a young owl from Brussels. The two worked well together in sniper school, and were made partners in the agency.
5. A different case, as this young rabbit boy is no longer a child. He was born in 1902 to Allison Townshend, an Associate Professor of economics at Columbia University in New York City. Allison told her young son, whom she named David, that his father died in a tragic accident. She did not tell him that she met his father at a farewell party at the college. He was the Director of the History Department at the university, and was leaving to go on an expedition to South America in 1901. This professor, a 46 year old rabbit, was taken by the charming younger lady, and they hit it off at the party. So much so that they found themselves alone in his office that night. The next morning, the professor left for South America. Nine months later, Allison had a baby boy, David Townshend. She could not explain it at the time, but something told her to lie about what had happened to the boy's father. This turned out to be a wise decision. The Professor that Allison had hooked up with was Professor Goddard Kane.

1) They'll always be "The Tadpoles" to T-Balt... and said rumors are nothing but lies and slander!... yeah...
2) Brian will be as big as his dad and, with any luck, also have a nice big photo book of his own, for his parents to embarrass him with one day too! Ahh the circle of life...
3) Mason unchanged and his "son" a grown man now. Heh, Mason isnt very expressive even in the best of times but I think he'd have cracked a smile when Alex was made an Agent.
4) I adore Anastasia's design. Her iguana crest lends itself so well to her look. I wonder what sort of action she sees working for the GDA tho?
5) David looks so god damn adorable, gaaaah I wanna snuggle him!!! And I guess it's best he never knows... wonder if he'll inherit his father's mind? Here's hoping he also develops a stronger will.
