So the game goes, you choose a team of 7 heroes from 7 different universes, and put them on a team together. There's no limit to who you can put on your team other than the 1 per universe rule. So no Goku and Piccolo, it's either or. That being said, let's get into it.
1. The wild card: Ghost rider (Marvel)
Ghost rider is the wild card of the group because he changes the entire dynamic of choices I can make. I can't have any evil or possibly evil characters without tempting infighting. In terms of combat ability, he is near invincible, super strength, and the hell fire weapons are a great addition to any well rounded team, and a great utility pick.
2. The sage: Raiden (Mortal Kombat)
Raiden is not only an expert marial artist, but as the god of lightning, and protector of earth realm, he has centuries of skills and knowledge to pull from. His mystical expertise, tactical ingenuity, and wisdom will be even greater assets than the fact that he shoots lightning from his fingertips. A great fighter and greater mind make him an ideal choice in my opinion.
3. The (reluctant) Leader: Yusuke Urameshi (Yu Yu Hakusho)
Yusuke might not be the greatest leader out there, but he is a competent one, and given the situation he was put in achieved great results with a group of loners. So given the situation I believe he could bring out the best in this rag tag team. With his physical capabilities being markedly powerful as well as his mystical abilities being equally so, he is a strong pick, if a risky one.
4. The brawler: Chun-li (Street Fighter)
Now this is a bit of an odd pick for me as there are other more powerful, or more well rounded street fighter characters, but Chun-li is a great fighter in her own right, as well as being a police officer with many out of combat skills and connections. That being said, the thing that drew me to her as a member of the team was her discipline and love of justice.
5. The rogue: Kenshin Himura (Rurouni Kenshin)
As a team it's normal to have a one trick pony every now and then, whether they be the face or the blunt instrument or in this case the sword. However, Kenshin is unique in the fact that not only is his sword a last resort, but also he has shown to be able to solve problems without needing it, but if he ever does need to, he is unmatched in skill.
6. The heart: Solaire of Astora (Dark Souls)
On just about every team you have the one guy who glues them all together, like the Flash in the justice league. Solaire is gives off that air of joy and well intent that will warm the heart of his allies, urging them toward jolly cooperation. Not to mention the fact that he has the skill to make it to the very end of the game if he doesn't go mad, and anyone who can make it through Dark souls is good in my book.
7. The world breaker: Vash the stampede (Trigun)
Every once and a while you run across a threat that blows up planets and is just too much for most people, enter Vash. Vash is not only capable of dealing with these kind of threats, but he also has a mind and body beyond human capability. Vash has the power of a nuke in the mind of a child and the intellect of a supercomputer. I couldn't think of a better person to finish my team than him.
