You're probably noticing something new about Artemis too... In Artemis' story, upon returning home to the San Palomino after saving New Elizabeth from the ABITF, Artemis and her friends embark on the one quest they left unfinished but in a crucial moment she finally came face to face with her younger brother Valiance, the champion of the Legion and sworn to kill her. In an honor match with Valiance Artemis is nearly beaten to death by her little brother but saved by her friends before she could be killed.

She survived with several concussions but her eye that was gouged by Valiance did not leaving her blind in her right eye. Now war with the Legion is abounding and Artemis and her friends now see that the war has come home...
