HOLY DEAR SWEET CHRIST.
Hey guys, my markers are officially 100% dead now. My browns are, at least. I have learned that, if you carefully balance them on one end, the ink seems to run to that end and you can prolong the life a little bit. I couldn't help it. Coloring is my favorite part of arting and going without it just made me JKSAHFLFHLAHFJHALK, so I had to force something out of those poor little guys.
MIJIA. ALMOST FIVE HOURS OF CURSING AND PRESSING DOWN UNCOMMONLY HARD. FUUUUUCK.

Dude...I could hardly tell your markers were dying from looking at this. XD
I think the background is my favorite part. The colors are all fiery and nice~ And I like her cape-ish thing. Tuscan red?
What gets me is that your markers are already dead, and I'm still using my original set. ._. For the most part. XD

Not all of them are dead. If I wanted to color Durzi, I could color her a thousand times over. It's the colors I seem to have to use for everything, both for myself and others.
Browns. Grays. A few of my blues.
I blame the fact I usually color on paper that absorbs a lot of ink (the paper in my sketchbook is apparently as absorbent as Charmin Ultra) and I use several, SEVERAL layers of color. Because I am picky and I'm still getting a hold of this "making things not look streaky" shit. So I go over things until they're... not.

I so sympathize with you, though I am so glad I got a new marker set, but the old ones are dying at a rate of one marker per piece now. They're so incredibly smooth and crisp when you first get them and then turn into an utter eye sore, to the point you have to abuse them just to get the ink out.
Pic is very nice though btw. You did a great job even with uncooperative ever dying markers.

Abuse to get the ink out. Yeah. I just found how that goes. Fortunately, it's easier to get Prismas to smooth out as they die. My old BiC markers were an absolute eyesore when they started to die, because no matter what you did they always seemed to want to just streaky their way into oblivion.
Hahahaha. And thanks. SERIOUSLY. Balancing them on one end helps a lot. IT'S CRAZY.

In the long, long ago, I did~

And thanks, heheh. THE LINEART I TRIED SO HARD ON. The markering I fought with. That should be fixed later this week; I have a shipment of markers coming. They'll be all new and shiny and they'll stink like a mother fucker! :D
