After escaping from Prison he happen to bumped into a teleporter and was stranded in the middle of the desert which he survived through instinct. However, Scourge wandered into a abandoned tomb and found a unusual necklace made of gold. So, out of curiosity he tried on the necklace which slowly transformed him into an Egyptian warrior of the nail with enhanced speed and strength.
