Even in the confines of a relatively small area, the big cats exude a sense of power and place...they command the turf and field upon which they repose, their golden eyes taking in everything, remembering, catalogging....

I would have captured some nice shots of my pets but my digital camera so slow, they either come out super blurry or chopped off frame. I can be so slow at auto focus that it takes up to 10 seconds to snap the photo after hitting the shutter button. I need to mess with the setting to see uif I can quicken the reaction time. I think there is a sport mode that would help.
The smaller digitals are make you crazy...their delay is horrible. Your best shot is to try to frame the scene and hope nothing moves then depress the shutter button to allow it focus and then fire away. Some of the new cameras coming out are dealing with that delay, and the prices aren't actually too bad. I feel your frustration though!!
I try that and it doesn't work all that well with the rambunctious animals like puppies and kittens. You should see all those shots of ultra closeup nosepads. I am on the lookout for a better camera but the prices not quite down to what I am comfortable paying. I suspect probably by the end of the year I'll spring for one.
I still remember a 640x480 digital was over $600US and super huge. And people were glad to pay it too. Hehe, the bad old days I say.
